Catching up with 2010

One of my new year’s resolutions was to keep up with my blog, well……. *FAILED*

RL work has been full of long days but new adventures in SL have also kept me from blogging. (Hoping February will be a very exciting month!)

Still I have managed to capture some awesome things, and here is a quick recap!





I got to start the New Year SHOPPING! with two very awesome ladies :)

2009 was a full of awesome moments... some not so awesome... but IT'S OVER NOW so we don't need to go there.



Some great times with friends....... and good music.

I friend emailed me the following this week….

I think it’s a bit scary how accurate that is…. I am constantly walking a fine line between being practical or giving in to what I am feeling. My head wins 99% of the time and I happen to like it that way…. In the end it’s always right...

Resolutions.......

I created this blog because….. honestly, it was the thing to do. Everyone had a blog…. and I know you shouldn't follow the crowd but if you don’t you are just left out alone and in the cold. I tried the fashion blog thing….. but who has time. I blog when silly things happen, but with my friends that is often and I just can’t keep up. LUCKLY they got it cover. (I love you all and words just aren’t enough here.)

So now I blog when inspiration hits me. Tonight I was knocked out by it. After several crashes I gave up on trying to listen to Harper Messmer... one of SL’s greatest! You all need to listen… Do it now! Wait I am off topic... well I went to explore some winter sims. Living in the South I have a fascination with snow… yes even pixel snow. I ended up at AM Radios beautiful sim, it’s been blogged a lot and no matter how good the blogger pics don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful and soothing and should be experienced in person.



I have been working on my New Year’s Resolution list recently….. Mostly because it’s that time of the year…. You know things like eat less sugar…. more work outs……. Don’t be such a workaholic.

A friend told me recently that “Being open to new experiences” should top my list…. Not in those words ;) but it has been mentioned by other once or ten times…. I need more play hours in my day and less reservations. I am working on letting things happen and getting myself out of my own way. Life is short (yes a cliché but a good one) and I plan on planning less and letting things be.

So I had this great blog post in my head about having great old friends who are now back...(yay) and some great new friends (yay again).... and how happy I am to see everyone around lately (woohooo!) But RL took over ... AND some unpacking of hunt items that turned into another great CRAZY night with my awesome friends! so here are some pics of and more too come soon.

Randomness & THe Mord'Sith

I tend to obsess with things I really like…… (duh). And recently the very well dressed nerd inside me has been obsessed with Legend of the Seeker a television series loosely based on The Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind. After a few episodes I was out looking for the books… The series is great…. But the books are AMAZING…..
I have fallen in love with the character Denna a ruthless Mord'Sith sent to torture and kill. The Mord-Sith are an elite group of women warriors. (I never identify with the helpless, waiting to be saved…… wonder what that says about me.)
AnyHOOT (Hi Owly)…. I was insanely overjoyed to find this outfit and then after searching the under every rock in SL I found the hair!!!! Yay

Now to find something for my new obsession... althought this one should be easier to find.
